Skelton Court is a Residential Care Home specialising in : 
- Adults with long term mental health problems
- Huntington’s Disease or an Acquired Brain injury.
We are a purpose built home in a residential area, situated in the Kirby Frith Area of Leicester
- Skelton Court caters for 20 Residents
- Each Resident has their own room with en-suite facilities
- The home is divided into two units
- Yellowcare Unit is for adults with mental health problems
- Redwood Unit is for adults with Huntingtons Disease or an Acquired Brain injury
Life at Skelton Court
Our aim is to provide a homely, friendly and caring environment for residents. The individuality and needs of each resident are of prime importance. Individual care plans are used for each resident based on their own needs, choices & abilities. Residents are encouraged to build on their strengths and maintain as much independence as possible.
Social activities are organised on a daily basis in house. Regular trips out are organised for groups of residents. Annual Holidays are also arranged at residents request.
We also operate a support fund to ensure all residents have the same opportunities for going out and holidays – we hold regular fund raising events to ensure sufficient funding is always available.
