This is the most rapidly expanding area of our service. We provide support to service users living in their own home. A package of support is agreed and trained staff provide the support to clients who may own their own home or rent from any public or private sector landlord.
The areas we can support people in include: -
- Personal care services
- Help with bathing
- Assistance wtih dressing / grooming
- Help with continence care
- Assistance with eating
- Dementia and Alzheimer care
- Medication reminders
- Home Help
- Provide light housekeeping, including dusting and hoovering
- Assist with washing and ironing
- Plan, prepare and tidy away meals
- Make and change beds
- Prepare shopping lists and help with general shopping
- Collect prescriptions
- Companionship
- Offer companionship and conversation
- Support with mail and writing letters
- Plan visists, outings and trips
- Help with visits to neighbours and friends
